Mother’s Day weekend at the coast with our peeps Mother’s Day weekend at the coast with our peeps was a perfect smash of lots of special memories. Bocce ball at sunset, breaking our record of pancakes that has been building for 7 years (101 pancakes for Hwy 101–yes, it is insane and unwise, but how much longer will we have all 7 teenagers with us?!) bonfire s’mores, and 2 gorgeous beach days at the Oregon coast which is like winning the lottery in May! Grateful for these dear friends and these kids that made me a mom. Sending love to all the mamas in my life, especially my own! ❤️
Over spring break, the 2 older kids went on a miss Over spring break, the 2 older kids went on a mission trip, so we had some special 2-1 time with Asher! We spent a day in Newport at @oregoncoastaquarium and exploring the town. It was so fun to be with this kid! Middle school boys are a unique breed, and sometimes it takes an entire day and undivided attention to really get some good conversations in. We sure love you, Asher Saran! Also: it appears I’m officially the shortest person in our family. 😆
Did we have any idea what we were getting into? No Did we have any idea what we were getting into? No. Would I absolutely do it over again in a heartbeat? Yes. Happy anniversary to the best guy I know, who makes everything better. ❤️ 22 years and counting.
This awesome team put on a big event for a bunch o This awesome team put on a big event for a bunch of women where we had fun and learned and sang and ate and laughed and talked. Found my newest bestie (@katywatsoncoaching who KILLED it teaching the Word) and just generally loved it all, even though I didn’t take any pics. 🤷🏼‍♀️ My daughter even got to come along to hold babies and hang out with some of her friends, so: win/win. Thank you to the dozens of people who played a part in making it happen! Now I’m taking my annual solo sleepover and plan to sleep for 15 hours. But look at that sunset!
